Sierra Donahue
A student of Biochemistry at George Fox University, Sierra is passionate about the sciences from medicine and environment to space travel and technology. Her studies in this field daily expose her to new and exciting developments across the forefront of the scientific world.
Sierra is also minoring in Journalism, as writing is her lifelong passion. After three years working as a reporter for her high school newspaper she was elected Editor-In-Chief her senior year. A year of diligent work editing, writing, photography, and layout provided Sierra with invaluable experience in leadership, time management, and the field of Journalism. She has attended multiple scholastic Journalistic conventions hosted by Oregon State University and The Oregonian. Besides her high school and university paper, Sierra’s articles have also been accepted for publication by The Sherwood Gazette and Burnside Writer’s Collective.
Also possessing experience working in a catering kitchen, Sierra loves the art of food and cooking. She recently had the privilege to travel to Europe for a month, gaining cultural and culinary insight from three countries: France, Germany, and Italy. She hopes to continue traveling, both on independent trips and through university excursions.
Sierra is a writer dedicated to communicating truthful information both entertaining and informative – changing the world one word at a time.
